A software engineer's primary data is their code. Cursor has gone as far as making their own IDE (where code is written) to digest code and to augment software engineers.
AI augmentation is given a green light even if the system is taking in your data.

If you see how Cursor works it can be called Live AI.
As a developer is typing code, Cursor is augmenting the developer via code completion suggestions with the help of AI. The suggestions are displayed on the screen immediately, as soon as the developer starts typing. The developer presses tab to accept the suggestions. Cursor also thoughtfully considers the implication of this new line of code and in a Live AI manner suggests modifications at other locations. Also in a Live AI manner if you press Ctrl+L you can start chatting about your code immediately. It is instant augmentation while a developer is working.
